I’ve seen a lot of Affiliate Marketing classes and books that claim “push button” success overnight. You have to take into consideration who is writing this material. I’ve seen a lot of rehashed junk, and yet I have seen a few things out there that do have some good information. But none of these things deliver like they say they will. Of course it’s really all due to personal determination. We all know that if we do nothing, we will end up with nothing of course. You have to work hard in any business and this one is no different. It’s not for everyone. I’m just going to come out and say that right now. You see these neat and well written ad copies about how “anyone can do this, even a complete idiot.” Well that just sets people up for failure when they buy the product, jump in and then find out they have to build a website, sign up for and learn Google Adwords, among many other things. People get frustrated quickly and decide they can’t do this business. And so that’s why I say that not everyone can jump into affiliate marketing. Now I’ve seen some things out there like Copy N’ Profit where they claim you don’t need any experience and you can just copy and run their campaigns. I’d be afraid to tell people to do this, because the next thing you know, you would have lost a ton of money in Google Adwords. Hey if you do NOT know what you are doing with Google Adwords, then you shouldn’t be playing with it unless you want a damn gigantic bill from them overnight and no way to pay it. So now that we know all this stuff and I am coming clean with people, what is it in this business that is holding you back the most? What do you think is the hardest thing to master? Finding profitable keywords? Learning to write ads? Is it landing pages (websites) that you are having the hardest problem with? I’d like people to leave some comments and lets find out.

It’s about time that someone levels with people about affiliate marketing, and not just from a point to try and sell you something. I’m here to cut through the hype, the crap, and tell you the honest truth about affiliate marketing, the tools I use, and what it REALLY takes to make it in this business. Why do you think it seems so hard to make money as an affiliate marketer? It’s not because people haven’t tried. I think these self proclaimed “guru’s” would rather not share their secrets, or if there’s any secrets at all. Well I’ve broke things down, and I’ve spent my share of money on all kinds of affiliate marketing “junk.” Don’t get me wrong though, there are some tools and some good information out there. Finding it is the hard part. That’s why I have created this blog. Over the next few week’s I’m going to break things down for you. I’m going to freely share what I know about Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click Marketing. And in doing this I’m going to piss some people off . Hey these “guru’s” are rich enough and need to stop whining. I’ll tell you exactly what NOT to buy and what FREE tools you can use and which paid tools you might consider. So get ready for a lot of good information to come your way.
